“Most wait years before telling a doctor, and many women get pelvic mesh surgeries or hysterectomies, which causes more problems for some women,” said Schull, who has a doctorate in philosophy. “Surgery addresses the symptoms, but not the root of the problem. We’ve come up with a simple solution every woman can do: kegels.”
"The more research I did and the more that I spoke to others, I realized that the incontinence, organ prolapse, and sexual dysfunction created when pelvic muscles are weakened really hold women back from living the lives they want. Learning this triggered my feminist instincts to do something for all these women that are being held back. "
“Changing the world sounds ridiculous, but that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”
Stephanie transforms women’s reproductive health with her innovative product, the Kegelbell — a weight training system that helps strengthen women’s pelvic floors to prevent bladder leakage and sexual dysfunction.
Stephanie Schull is a an academic researcher-turned-inventor-and-entrepreneur with a desire to “create things that should have always existed.” Her invention, the Kegelbell, is a natural and radically effective weight training system that helps women to perform an effective kegel, which strengthens their pelvic floors.
Dr. Stephanie Schull talks about how the pelvic floor, incontinence and other debilitating issues can be helped immediately! Kegels and more…
"Kegelbell strives to empower women to take their health and happiness into their own hands, and the reception we’ve received from our customers has reaffirmed that. By partnering with Kegelbell, physicians can help their patients secure a healthier and happier future without the stress, pain, and embarrassment that a weak pelvic floor can bring."
